Wow, in the beginning I was really good at keeping up my posts and such... but I seem to have become a little sluggish when it comes to posting... which is okay since knowone really reads this junk.

None the less, it's been 9 days since my last post and I thought I should update.

Thanksgiving....wow....Turkey...sorry-- PIE day.. went well, considering holidays usual consist of someone whining, complaining, bitching, yelling and / or just being an overall grumpy bad mood party pooper things went well. No big problems.... cept my dad broke a dish into one of the pies and mom had to remake it after she had already stayed up late to make it the night before. That was the worst thing that happened... we went to the G-rentals house for dinner... I left about 2:15 cuz I had to be at work by 3...Got to work..did my thing and went home.... Then I worked the next FULL 3 days...alone... now that sucked... But when I get my paycheck on Thursday I will be happy...

The Christmas parade was last night... I was going to walk in it with the SPCA, but they had enough walkers So I got to enjoy my WHOLE jazzercise class instead of cutting out early to go to the parade...

Elicia was there... she said that Wednesday night is "family night" (which is just a night for family of the actors and techs to come and see the show for free the night before they open to the public) for the Tulare show "Loving Lives" at Encore Theatre, and she wanted to know if I wanted to go with her because Mike is running lights. I thought it would be fun...but will will miss Jazzercise... :-( Oh well... It should be a good show. I feel bad having Mike help me with lights AND sound for my show...but he had already promised to help... the good thing is, is that it's VERY very simple lighting and so setting and hanging lights will be REALLY easy and running sound is just dealing with the board, nothing outside the booth.

I was searching the net the other day and I found one of those "oh-so-perfect" must have items... Shirts that say "Friends don't let friends be actors" and on the back "techies rule" (As seen below) So, since Elicia and I had that "you can't be an actor, your a tech!" joking stuff....Well, mainly from Mike, "You crossed over to the side of acting, you can't come back to the tech side " But I saw this shirt and it was GREAT! So I ordered E and I one.

So, anyway, I have homework to get to, bye!

Yesterday I had to work ALLLL day...but at least I got a normal lunch break this time.... to make working even worse... I woke up with a stuffed up nose and all that great stuff that comes along with a cold....Augh....

Wednesday night Jessica, (My best girl/scicon sis-tuh) and I went to Jazzercise... it was actually pretty fin....we laughed SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard throughout the first half of class and then the end... We felt bad... because we know the instructor could hear us... Come to find out, the instructor knows my mom...and my aunt Shelley...and Elicia...and Elicia atteneds the class... GREAT. Maybe we won't be going back.

Last night Jess and I went to Brewbakers for dinner... We got the calamari appetizer... Yummy! And then House Brewed Orange Cream soda... we ordered dinner...it took SOOOOOOO long! And by the time we got our main course...neither of us were hungry, and we were late for our movie....

When we left the resturant I saw one of the Radio TBS actors outside waiting for a table and we stopped to chat for a quick second.... we got to the movie in time... but the ONLY seats left were the front row... WOW, we both had headaches after the movie....

We saw Harry Potter... it was okay...but not as good as the other HP's....

After the movie we went to Cold Stone Creamery.... I got a smoothie...and since I am sick... it was GREAT....

Fresno State plays 2nite w00-hoo!!!!!!! Go DOGS!!!!!!!!!!! This is our big game of the season...!

Well... Radio TBS finally close this last sunday...closing is always one of those bitter sweet endings... your happy that you have free time...but sad that you won't be all the people you have spent every night for the past 3 months with and sad that the show is over because it really was kinda fun...

I have come to a conclusion.... Acting is not so bad after all, in fact, I do kinda like it and would maybe do it again... however... the pull between being a tech and an actor is really weird.... I LOVE being a tech and no acting is EVER going to change that. But, here's the thing... I can't be an actor without being someway involved with tech...it's like...I HAVE to know what is going on on the tech side or I go CRAZY. The thing is, is that it's SOOOOOOOOOOO hard to be tech AND an actor... almost impossible... if Elicia and I did not have our assistant we would not have made it through the show because even though there were 2 of us, we had to act and do tech, and it's a very narrow road to walk. I went nuts not being on headset all the time for this show. I have NO problems being JUST a tech and not an actor.... I think more than anything what is weird is that I have been with Elicia at MINIMUM 4 or 5 days a week since APRIL, and now I don't see her AT ALL. Kinda weird. I mean, we're not friends or anything, but still when you are around someone that often and you don't see them, it feels weird.

JUST a tech. And damn proud of it!

So, after the show on Sunday we struck the set.... I did curtains this time... pain in the rear I tell you....you have to climb on top of really tall ladders and fight the the stupid curtain hooks and ties...

We finished with everything about 6:30pm and then we went over to one of the actors' houses for a pot luck... Soup-Salad-Bread-Dessert... I made Cream Puff Pie... didn't turn out too bad if I do say so myself...

The director got these adorable bags that play music and put in the Spam, Vienna Sasuage and a yoo-hoo for each of us... it's a thing from the play.... "Yes, our new park residents will recieve a complementary spam and vienna sasuage produce basket and a six-pack of yoo-hoo's!" lol. The main theme throughout the play was the Annual Drive By Live Christmas Nativity: Jesus and Elvis - A Tribute to the Kings .... and one of the cast members found this great book, to we all pitched in and got this book as the directors gift the book was entitled: Jesus and Elvis, a Tribute to the Kings... Now who would tink to write a book like that we have NO idea...but it was PERFECT.

The cast pitched in and got Elicia, Mike and I gift certificates for downtown Visalia... it's this thing put together where you get one gift certificate, but you can use it at ANY of the stores downtown that are on the list. Now that was really neat. I thought it was really cool that they did that since, usually, techs are kinda forgotten.... $50... now THERE was a suprise... I think we all were.

I am working on the next play...it's called: Beyond Karaoke. But I am just doing lights so I am not needed until the beginning of January.
So, school is going okay... I talked to a counselor and decided to add a degree to my list: Business Market and Management.

We'll see how that pans out....

Fresno State Vs. Boise tonight... GO Bulldogs!!!!!!!!! Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!

COWHIDE!!!!!!!!!!! is tonight, Mt. Whitney Vs. Redwood.... go whitney? I think MW might have a chance... and I use that term loosley because MW beat GW, and GW beat RW, does that mean that MW can beat RW? Maybe, let's hope...they NEED the confidence boost...

Over n Out...

Today I had to work ALL day! 7am to 5pm... with ONE 20minute break... Boy was I tired...!

I went home...and showered...and got to the theatre tonight around 5:45...and Mike and Elicia pulled up right behind me and so I got right in the set the stage....

I went up to the box office and pulled the reservation list off of the fax machine.... I began counting... and then Mike came in... wow...that's a lot... and, are you over 100 yet, is all he could say..... 130 reservations.... 130!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!! That's like.... WOW, the most we've had has been mabe 50-ish...

Well, I FLEW backstage, and was like "I think you all might like to know that we have 130 reservations!" Everyone was like OMG, are you kidding?
Our house only holds 140 .....maybe 150... And we ended up being sold out...

The audience was pretty good... we went 15 mins over our usual time mark...and that was all holding for laughs...one of my lines got SOOO much laugher actor I was on stage with and I just looked at each other like...Uh...I didn't think it was THAT funny... funny thing is...is that that particular line had NEVER gotten that type of reaction...
"I wonna be sistunt manijuh of condoms at Bugga Boy Momma says" hehehe....

So....My knee has been hurting REALLY bad... but I put on my brace and used a hot pack and it felt better....so I was able to do everything just fine....

Arts Market tomarrow...errrrr....maybe...

G'd Nite yall!
