Yesterday I submitted the FAFSA and today I submitted a renewal petition for my Board of Governers Grant... I REALLY hope I get BOGG, again, that would be SOOOOOO awesome!
I don't expect anything from the fafsa, my grades are good enough, aka 3.0 +, but my parents still make to much money to be considered. The thing is, is that yes, they make plenty of money, just not enough to live AND send me to college. Granted we have money put away for me that I am using for college, but that money will run out soon enough.
Last weekend I applied for 3 scholarships. One was an essay; I have to write about something I had passion for. Or, something like like, whatever the exact promt was, prompted me to write about keeping art-ish classes in schools and the importance of cognative and social development for children, as well as a theraputic tool for the physically and mentally ill. THAT was SO hard to wrtie in only 600-800 words! I had a good 3,000. The other two were short essay paragraphs: One was about being a Liberal Studies Major and what you plan to accomplish, and the other was for future teachers and why that was important to be.

We began tech rehearsals and full dress rehearsals for Marvel Donagan. The first tech took about.... Well... I was there from 1pm to about 6-ish... Long and tedious and frusterating.... Things change and knowone gets told, people are too slow, ect ect ect....
Last night went to fastest by far. We continue to have big problems, but none of them are mine, *knock on wood*
The lights are okay...just a few probs... sound...ONLY the director could screw up sound that bad and not be in BIG BIG trouble... we will be sitting backstage and suddenly music will play... Aye, yi yi....
The actors are slow... and tend to miss cues... During one scene a husband and wife walk on stage and "run into" 2 other characters in the club scene.... WELL, the 'wife' got my attention and was like, "Hey, where's my husband?" Oh crap, I think, where is he, he's gonna miss the entrance and they can't stall this.... So I flew backstage and he was sitting still getting his shoes on chatting it up with some others.... I coul dnot for the life of me think of his name, and I was SOOO flustered, I began snapping my fingers, finally everyone turned around and I pointed at him and said, "YOU, onstage, NOW, your going to miss you entrance!!!"
So, he tries to finish tying his shoe and putting on his jacket, and I was like "RUN, your late"
...Well, he missed it... but luckly the women onstage covered well, though he blew it when he went onstage because he said a line that his character should not have know yet....
WhatEVER... I think I was home by...10:30pm ish...

So, my 19th birthday is coming up soon.... I ordered a Djembe (Gym-Bay) online, it's one of those drums that sits between your knees and you drum with your hands... I got it from a dealer on eBay... they have this new thing where you can make an offer on a Buy-It-Now item... I made an offer of $50, and the lady took it....
It's an authentic Djembe, hand made in Bali with a goat skin drum head. I am SO excited...
One of the girls in the show I am working on has one, and I told her I thought that was really kewl... and she said when I got it she would take me to the drum circle with her... Cool!
