End of Sophomore year in college... I think it has been the crappiest semester EVER.... I got a "D" in Biology... yeah... that's... that's my first "D" EVER... my WORST grade to that point was ONE nasty glaring "C" in Pre 1800 History...

It sucks, but it's not the end of the world... but I DO have to take the class, again. Yuck.

Grades are rolling in slowly. It scares me. I spent so much time out for surgery I have NO CLUE what the rest of my grades will look like. Thus far. I got my Bio grade and a "B" in English 4... Phwew! 3 to go!

For the summer session I am taking English 2, Math 10 and A geography class that fulfills the last of my science reqs. 4 weeks and 4 hours 5 days a week. Yuck. It's yucky and difficult!

However... this summer session will be my last semester in college for a year. I am officially taking a year off!

So... no cheerleading next year... or dance... or voice classes... I'm pretty sad out that stuff.

BUT I am getting a once in a lifetime oppurtunity! I applied, for an internship to: The Clemmie Gill School of Outdoor Science and Conservation.

And out of hundred(s) of applications... not only did I get an interview, I was one of the lucky few to get hired on! I think 9 or so get hired?

I'm thrilled to have gotten this chance! I've wanted it for a LONG time!

SOOOO, I will be living on their campus-- away from hmoe for a whole year *gasp*... I'll manage. Though I know my mom is not rally looking forward to it. She's very happy for me, but I know it's going to be hard for her. 20 years in the same house and gone in a day. Sorry mom :-( But I've got to spread my wings sooner or later.

My knee is getting better... but I now have a brace... it helps SO much! And I'm still in physical therapy. I have to be ready for my internship, hopefully I'll be strong enough otherwise things will be terrible until I get strong enough to hack it!

That's all for now.

Congratulations!

I know you'll do great.

And the thought of biology makes me shudder.

Shudder!
